Certified Aging in Place Professional Contractors, (CAPS) CAPS are National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB) members that have been taught the techniques for building aesthetically enriching, barrier free living. They are professionals that specialize in new and remodeling homes for "Aging in place"andIndependent living.Their areas of practice vary as they specialize in Home-Modifications, Home Remodels and/or New Home construction.
Other professional designations are as follows: (AIA) American Institute of Architects, (CGP) Certified Green Professional ,(CGR) Certified Graduate remodeler (IIDA) International Interior Design Association, (CKD) Certified Kitchen Designer, (IDEC) Interior Design Educators Council.
